The Pig’s Tail™ protective spiral wrap is manufactured from robust high density polyethylene (HDPE). The hydraulic hose spiral wrap provides a quick and cost-effective method for minimising production losses due to damage or abrasion, and protecting vital hoses and connections. It is designed for heavy-duty bundling and protection of hydraulic and pneumatic hoses across various industries, including mining, construction, logging, welding, transportation, manufacturing, marinas, scuba, landscaping and agriculture.

  • Made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), a particularly robust and durable material.
  • Designed to provide heavy-duty protection to hydraulic hoses and enable bundling of hoses.
  • Due to the spiral cut, the hose wrap is extremely flexible.
  • Reduces exposure to sharp edges or corners, preventing hydraulic hoses from bursting.
  • Protects critical cabling and connections from abrasion, misuse, poor maintenance, and severe working environments.
  • Reduces risk of work stopping due to hose failure.
  • Prolongs the service life of hoses.
  • Has unique, rounded and bevelled edges that make the wrap easy to install, whether on loose or mounted hoses and cables.
  • Available in a wide range of sizes to suit most hose diameters.
  • Suitable to use with equipment operating across extreme temperature ranges of -40°C to 138°C (-40°F to +280°F).
  • Ultraviolet (UV) resistant.
  • Use in the transportation industry to protect air hoses on trucks.

  • Protects hydraulic hoses and air-driven equipment in the mining industry.
  • Available in the colour black.
