Caplugs at Mecspe fair 2023

For 21 editions, the MECSPE fair has been the largest international event in the field of innovations for the manufacturing industry and the meeting point between production technologies and industrial sectors. The 13 halls of the Mecspe are themed and offer visitors a complete overview of innovations in materials, innovative products, machines and technologies for every sector of the manufacturing industry.

With over 39.000 visitors and 2.000 exhibitors, it is the fair to get in touch with the industry leaders presenting their new products here and, thanks to its international character, it also offers opportunities to make new contacts and start new collaborations.

Masking solutions

Caplugs Europe will also be present at the Mecspe fair. As a world leader in product protection and masking solutions, we have a wide product range. Our masking products are specially designed to safely cover or protect your product openings, fittings and connections during any finishing process. This can be done with a basic article such as masking caps, plastic plugs and die cuts. However, in many cases, precision masking products are also needed. Caplugs offers customised masking solutions in addition to standard catalogue products.

Applicable in various industries

Masking products are widely applicable and are used in various industries, including automotive, mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Any product that needs to be painted or coated has areas that do not require paint. To paint a rim in two colours, the spokes have to be covered with special masking products. For a product with (screw) holes that needs to be painted/coated, there are masking plugs that can be co-coated. This ensures that no paint gets into the part. Afterwards, they can easily be removed again. Masking is also used when plating a particular part of a shaft. The rest of the shaft does not need to be treated and is shielded with masking products for this purpose.
