Service plugs for hydraulic systems

Caplugs Service Plugs aid operations during the repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems. These plugs are essential to prevent spillage and contain hydraulic fluid when replacing filters, swapping out components, or making other system repairs. An ideal solution for preventing spillage and containing hydraulic fluid, these plugs require no tools to use – just grab and seal, using the hexagon-shaped head to easily grip, then tighten by hand to provide a reliable seal.

 

  • Made from flame-retardant polyester for durability and longevity.
  • The hose service plugs have good mechanical abrasion and low deformation composition under pressure.
  • The plugs are tested to standard SFS-EN ISO 12947-2 and can withstand over 200,000 rubs.
  • IATF 16949 certified and offer good resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons like fuel oils, diesel and propane.
  • Suitable for temperatures ranging from -25°C to +90°C (-13°F to +194°F).
  • The hose service plugs are permeable at low gas pressures, have moderate weather/ozone resistance, and have low resistance to polar and aromatic solvents.
  • The plugs are silicon-free, and resistant to most oils and chemicals, making them suitable for diverse hydraulic systems.
  • The plugs have a hexagon-shaped head, allowing users to easily grip and hand-tighten them for a reliable seal.
  • Available in sizes ranging from micro to XL, ensuring a fit for various hose and port dimensions.
  • Standard colour is yellow.
