A dual-colour hose protection spiral with wear indicator
DUO Colour spiral ABRA is a specialised protective spiral wrap that helps identify early signs of abrasion or heavy blows, enabling a timely replacement to be installed. The black exterior of the hose guard covers a yellow core. Once the black top layer wears off, the yellow colour is exposed, indicating that the spiral hose wrap is due for replacement. Although the top layer is only 0.5mm, abrasion of the spiral is minimal. It takes approximately 1,000km or 415 hours to wear off at 1.9 MPa surface pressure (pin-on-disk tester). Used in various industries, including construction, agriculture, transportation, mining, and logging.

- Reduces risk of work stopping due to hose failure.

- Suitable to use with equipment operating across extreme temperature ranges.
- Tolerates frost and heat from -50 °C to +80 °C (continuous) and +100 °C (short-term), and is resistant to acids, oils and solvents.
- Contains an antistatic additive.
- Outer diameters (OD) are available from 16mm to 110mm.
