What is at the MECSPE?
MECSPE is the largest international event for the manufacturing industry, and this year, it will be held for the 21st time. In 13 halls with varying themes, visitors receive a complete overview of innovations in materials, products, machinery and technology. With 2,000 exhibitors, the fair is ideal for making contact with industry leaders.
The programme is designed around three themes:
Training – During the fair, MECSPE showcases the most in-demand roles, the skills needed to get started in the manufacturing industry, and the increased interest in the manufacturing world. The event offers young talent an opportunity to connect with exciting companies. Caplugs is also looking for young professionals to grow with the company in the European market.
Digitalisation – Digitalisation within Industry 4.0 is one of the most valuable trends for the manufacturing industry in recent years. At the fair, visitors can discover ways to use digital technologies and applications to increase efficiency in the processing industry. Digitalisation is also a current topic at Caplugs, with the development of a new website with new integrated software.
Sustainability – This theme will explore aspects of sustainable mobility and technological options. Caplugs masking solutions ensure that product apertures, fittings, and connections are safely covered and protected during every finishing process. For example, to prevent paint from getting into screw holes, making it difficult to insert screws, and to avoid paint between two components making the screws loosen over time.
