Caplugs looks back at Eurosurfas Barcelona with satisfaction

The Eurosurfas in Barcelona is over. More than 200 exhibitors, including Caplugs, welcomed around 20,000 visitors during this international exhibition. Visitors from diverse industrial sectors showed great interest in Caplugs innovative masking solutions. Here is a short report on the week in Barcelona.

From 30th May to 2nd June 2023, the Caplugs booth was visited by existing contacts and potential customers. Many designers, manufacturers, and technicians from the aeronautics, automotive, mechanical engineering, and petrochemical industries showed great interest in our product protection and masking solutions.

While technicians from the aeronautics industry were mainly interested in protecting sensitive electronic components, such as covering connectors and sensitive sensors during the painting of aircraft components, automotive manufacturers were looking for masking products to cover surfaces such as windows, door handles, and logos during the painting of cars. Meanwhile, machine builders wanted a solution for covering bearings to prevent contamination during the machining of parts.

Many visitors approached the booth with specific questions about their unique applications and challenges. They sought suitable masking solutions to protect their parts during spraying, machining, coating or hot-dip galvanising procedures. In the coming period, the Caplugs sales staff and engineers will be busy scheduling follow-up appointments to find the best customised masking solutions for these potential customers.       What is the Hannover Messe?

      Bringing the Caplugs vision to life

      Caplugs has grown enormously within Europe in recent years through the acquisition of several companies. As a result, the team of specialists and product range have been expanded significantly. As the market leader in caps, plugs, masks, and hose protection, the production of videos about Caplugs was seen as a way to increase its brand awareness in Europe.

      Branding is all about connecting with your audience on an emotional level. And that was the goal of the recent video production project. The videos give a behind-the-scenes look at European production sites and their specialities. Sven, marketing specialist at Caplugs Europe, worked with the talented team from On The Rocks to bring the Caplugs Europe brand to life through the power of video production.

      The result?

      The results were impressive: A brand story that truly resonates with the Caplugs audience and showcases the innovative products and services offered in the countries showcased, and throughout Europe.

      The outcome of these efforts will be shown for the first time at the Hannover Messe 2023, in Hall 5, booth B06. Caplugs is proud to present the three videos that present the Caplugs brand in a unique and impactful way.

      • Our first video showcases not only the European facilities but also highlights the essence of the Caplugs brand, including its values and commitment to excellence.

      Caplugs visited the MECSPE fair

      The Caplugs team attended the MECSPE fair in Bologna from Wednesday, 29th to Friday, 31st of March, 2023. This international event was held for the 21st time this year and was once again a great success, with an estimated 40,000 visitors.

      MECSPE is an important fair for the manufacturing industry, and presents an interface between technologies and industrial sectors. The 13 halls of the fair are arranged according to topic, giving visitors a complete overview of innovations in technology, materials, and machinery.

      The Caplugs booth was in Hall 36, which was dedicated to rubber, plastic, and composite supplies. The entire chain was represented from design to materials, machinery, equipment, and contract processing. Other industries, including automotive, aviation, transport, power generation, and the medical sector were showcased in the other halls. The visitors ranged from business leaders and managers to buyers, production managers, and operators.

      The Caplugs team presented a wide range of masking solutions that protect products during finishing processes. There was also an opportunity to speak directly with Caplugs engineers about finding the right solution for a specific requirement.

      During the fair, many new international connections were made, helping increase Caplugs brand awareness in Europe. In addition, our sales staff and engineers attended several presentations for professional development.
